King William Tower 2

Sturdie was engaged to deliver the electrical, communications, and security services for King William Tower 2, part of the Riverbank Integrated Development, one of South Australia’s largest urban renewal projects. The 37-storey tower comprises approximately 52,700 m² of commercial space, 2,600 m² of retail space, and 560 m² of storage.

Sturdie’s scope includes the design, supply, delivery, and installation of incoming power and communications infrastructure, general lighting and power systems with full power distribution, standby generation and fuel systems, a grid-connected PV solar panel array, and EV car chargers.

Communications systems includes distributed antenna systems, MATV, and integrated passive infrastructure. Security works encompassed access control and CCTV systems, providing a fully monitored and secure environment for tenants and visitors.

Sturdie will manage all aspects of design integration, pre-engineering, installation, and commissioning, ensuring compliance with the project’s high standards for functionality, sustainability, and safety. The result will be a robust, future-ready electrical, communications, and security infrastructure that underpins the tower’s operations and contributes to the broader vision of the Riverbank precinct as a premier destination for business, leisure, and community engagement.
