Founding Director Matt Smith commenced Sturdie Trade Services in 2006. Since then, this wholly Australian-owned organisation has achieved substantial organic growth and is now an award-winning, multidisciplined service provider throughout Australia. In 2022 Sturdie joined the Fredon Group.
Simon is a senior executive with over 20 years experience managing large complex organisations. Simon joined the Sturdie family in 2022 when Fredon acquired a controlling interest in Sturdie. With a keen eye for detail, he brings a wealth of knowledge and experience and is responsible for all aspects of our business, nationally.
As National Operations Manager, Ian is there to make things happen. With a passion for the industry, a contagious laugh, and an eye for detail like few others in the sector, he's our go-to guy for establishing and maintaining systems, and coming up with strategies and procedures to ensure efficient and smooth operations at all times.
With a passion for customer service and for working with our customers to achieve better outcomes; Luke provides a central point of contact between national customers and our state-based teams to ensure a consistent experience. Having worked across Electrical, Communications, Audio Visual and Healthcare Technology verticals within the industry, he has an acute awareness of working within a customer's environment and brings a collaborative and outcome focus to service delivery and problem solving.
