Herston Private Hospital is a private medical facility providing specialist medical services within a modern clinical environment. The project involved a full electrical fit-out across three levels of an existing building, including the delivery of a new day surgery designed to meet the stringent requirements of a healthcare setting.
Sturdie was engaged to deliver the complete electrical services package, including design, supply, installation, testing and commissioning, and ongoing maintenance. Works were undertaken in accordance with relevant Australian Standards and healthcare compliance requirements to ensure safety, reliability, and operational continuity.

  • Exit and emergency lighting
  • Examination lighting
  • Lighting control systems
  • Essential, non-essential, and UPS distribution switchboards
    Submains to electrical and associated building services
  • Earthing systems
  • Communications cabling and cable containment
  • AV, security access control, and nurse call systems
  • MATV systems


The team successfully completed the project in May 2022.
